ITS BIG E is a Cameroonian-born artist based in Oklahoma whose sound bridges two worlds. Having spent half of his life in Cameroon and the other half in the United States, he brings a unique perspective to modern music, blending the rhythms of Afrobeats with the energy of Hip-Hop and the appeal of Pop.
Growing up in Cameroon, ITS BIG E was surrounded by music from an early age. He listened to Makossa, African classics, and the latest Afrobeats hits on Trace TV, while also developing his musical foundation through years of singing in church choir. These early experiences shaped his love for melody, performance, and storytelling.
After moving to the United States, ITS BIG E expanded his musical influences, drawing inspiration from both African and American sounds. Influenced by artists such as P-Square, Omah Lay, Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, and Rema, he has crafted a sound that combines African groove, Western production, catchy melodies, and authentic storytelling.
